Position Description
We are looking to fill a job opening for an Advertising Installer/General Labor here at Clear Channel Outdoor Wichita, KS.
Responsibilities
? Install, remove, rotate outdoor advertising displays, and extensions consisting of vinyl, wood or other material
? Sets up truck, ladders, and safety equipment to climb up to hang the signs
? Lift, pull push, position ladders, ropes, pulleys, material, and equipment in excess of 85 pounds
? Climb ladders and/or stairs and work at heights of 85 feet or more
? Operate trucks and other heavy equipment
? Report safety and maintenance related problems to supervision
? Inspects truck and equipment for safety hazards
? Drives truck on route to sign sites
? Perform simple structure/site maintenance tasks, such as clean roof areas, cut weeds, etc.
? Participate in company training, safety meetings and other meeting, and events as directed.
? Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
? Performs other routine duties.
To provide service excellence
??To work safely and efficiently installing our customers advertisements. Other staff executes the sales, while the sign installer is the final step in a contracts execution.
??To offer open, honest direct information, and provide solutions when questions or conflicts arise.
??To set an example for other staff, demonstrating passion for performance.
??To be the customers' advocate by providing the best product presentation possible.
Position Requirements
? Works well within a team environment
? Read, write, follow simple instructions, use a watch/clock or other timing device
? Following instructions, reading maps, completing simple writing, reporting tasks associated with keeping accurate records for client, and payroll reporting purposes
? Possess valid in-state driver?s license suitable for light commercial vehicles
? Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.
? Able to work alone, with minimal supervision
? Perform non routine duties as directed by supervisor
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, clear communication skills, both oral, and written. This person needs to work well in a team environment. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
